Are FC Barcelona unstoppable this season?
FC Barcelona's 6-1 thumping of Celta Vigo over the weekend was emphatic. Ruthless and a warning to Barca's primera liga title rivals.....they're not relinquishing it soon. But the most telling was Messi and Suarez play-up from the 6-yard. We all know it was a Johan Cryuff trick pulled off in the 80's which Henry and Pires failed to execute against Manchester City for Arsenal a while back. But that's beside the point. MSN are on fire. Very confident. And that incident showed they're having fun. And being lethal while at it. It doesn't get any scarier than when you find out Messi and Suarez … [Read more...]

Last season Tata Martino made a huge leap away from the Barcelona that was lauded as the 'best Barca team in history', installing new ideas … [Read more...]
Who will be La Liga’s top scorer this season?
There are more candidates for Spain's illustrious Pichichi this season than ever in recent times. It has been the Messi - Ronaldo show for some time now, you have to go back to the 2008/2009 season when a player other than Messi or Ronaldo finished top scorer of La Liga, Diego Forlan of Atletico Madrid. This season however, the likes of Suarez, Mandzukic and even Falcao(if you follow the transfer gossip) can top the charts ahead of Messi and Ronaldo. … [Read more...]
Will Luis Suarez be in La Liga next season?
For all his wonderful talent and goal-scoring ability, Luis Suarez creates chaos wherever he is. The Uruguayan striker showed promising signs of returning to redemption during a fantastic goal-scoring with Liverpool who came within a whisker of surprising the odds and winning the Premier League.
