La Liga has two representatives in the UEFA Champion’s League semi-finals and an all-Spanish final might occur for the second time in the competition’s history. However, this, we argue, does not reflect the superiority of the Liga BBVA as a whole… ‘Two-horse race’ is often the most common description of the La Liga title race, which, even to those of us who defend the league, appears to be undeniable in recent years. … [Read more...]
Málaga set for Fateful Night in Greece
The future of Málaga CF will be decided on Greek soil, when the Spanish hopefuls play Panathinaikos in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League playoff. Malaga Season Preview
From what appeared to be a season stating their intent, the situation at Malaga has suddenly changed in the past few days. My Spanish 2012 Olympics Squad

Spain don't have to deal with that dilemma, and with their Under 21 squad winning the European Championships last year, the country … [Read more...]
Malaga March Forwards
Santi Cazorla and Joaquin doubles secured 3 routine points for Malaga as they overwhelmed a hapless Granada 4-0 in the Eastern Andalucian derby. A defeat to fellow rivals Sevilla on the opening day spelt trouble for Malaga but they are now officially up and running. Could this be the beginning of something? Judging by last nights performance it becomes hard to tell due to the quality of the opposition. It'd be like getting carried away after a victory over Swansea City! Nevertheless, Manuel Pellegrini's men ran out convincing winners against a team who look to be in for the long run already. … [Read more...]
