New striker Daniel Sturridge was on target yet again for his new club as his goal helped Bolton Wanderers to a 2-0 home win over Everton this afternoon. The Cottagers took an early-lead through centre back Gary Cahill as he ran clear get on the end of Stuart Holden's free-kick from the left. England won a tightly-fought contest in Copenhagen after coming from behind thanks to goals in either half from Darren Bent and Ashley Young. Fabio Capello's men vindicated their last 4-1 defeat over Denmark back in 2005 with a confident display and 2-1 victory in front of their travelling fans at the Parken Stadion tonight. England manager Fabio Capello has sprung up a couple of surprises in the selection of his squad to face Denmark in an international friendly this week as Aston Villa defender Kyle Walker and Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale have both been included in the side.
