Deportivo supporter dies in the capital
Ahead of the Atletico Madrid vs Deportivo La Coruna game on the weekend, a 43 year old Deportivo fan died after supporter violence broke out in the Spanish capital. The man, who was not identified by name, was removed from the freezing cold Manzanares River near Atletico Madrid’s stadium, the Estadio Vicente Calderon. After beating local rivals Deportivo Alaves on Sunday evening, SD Eibar were promoted to La Liga following Las Palmas' defeat to Recreativo Huelva.
