Fabian Delph Seals New Villa Contract
Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2015. Delph, 21 arrived at Villa Park in 2009 after a string of impressive performances for Leeds United but has found his chances more limited having recently being hampered by a long-term knee injury that kept him out of action for eight months. Ashley Young was made captain yesterday during Aston Villa's convincing 4-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers and it is thought to be a move by boss Gerard Houllier to help convince the star to stay at the club come the end of the season.
