Atletico Madrid will see another of their stars from last season depart for Stamford Bridge after Chelsea agreed a fee for defender Filipe Luis. Striker Diego Costa made the move earlier this month for £32m, following weeks of speculation, and the Brazilian left-back will join him in London. Luis, 28, is likely to replace Ashley Cole who left the club for Roma and become the club's first-choice left-back. Sevilla starlet Moreno a target for United and Chelsea
Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Sevilla full-back Alberto Moreno and planning a January swoop for the 21-year-old. Moreno has been in Sevilla's first team for only a few months but his impressive performances have seen him make his full Spanish debut and become a prime target for Europe's top clubs. Ashley Cole Under Fire After Shooting Incident
Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has landed himself in trouble after allegedly shooting a young fan with an air rifle at Chelsea's Cobham training ground last weekend. Cole, 30, reportedly brought a calibre .22 air rifle into training and whilst fooling around with the gun pointed it at a young work-experience student and shot him - seemingly unaware that the gun was loaded. Reports suggest Cole has received a huge dressing down about the incident and Chelsea staff have met with the boy's parents this week to discuss the incident.
