The struggle at Sociedad
A painful last few minutes for Real Sociedad against Getafe have left them just outside the relegation zone with five points from eight games. It has been a dreadful start from the white and blue which they need to turn around quickly if they are to challenge for a place in Europe. Rayo Vallecano v Barcelona match report
Luis Enrique’s men continued their winning ways against an eventual 9-man Vallecano side. The Catalans scored 2 goals within 78 seconds of each other to secure their 6th win of the season. A lovely lob by Lionel Messi meant the visitors went in front after 35 minutes. With his latest act of madness on the touchline causing himself to receive an eight match ban, I want to see if the man who guided Atletico Madrid to their first La Liga title in 18 seasons is worth all the trouble that comes with the tactical genius. Simeone took over at Atletico from Gregorio Manzano, after the teams defeat in the Copa del Rey to minos Albacete Balompie.
