According to Miguel Delaney of the Independent, Barcelona have made an approach to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen.
It is no secret that Barcelona have eyed up a move for Philippe Coutinho as a potential replacement for Neymar but with Liverpool not keen on selling the Brazilian playmaker, the Catalan giants have been forced to look at transfer targets elsewhere.
The likes of Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe have been mentioned as targets for Barcelona in recent times and now according to reports from the Independent, claims have been made that Ernesto Valverde’s side are currently looking to sign Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen.
Eriksen has consistently been one of the best attacking players in the Premier League over the past few years and the 25-year-old enjoyed a stunning campaign last term, providing 23 assists and 12 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions.
Due to his exploits, Barcelona now allegedly feel that Eriksen would be a good fit at the Nou Camp and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham are able to keep hold of the Danish international this summer.
