According to reports from the Daily Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to acquire the services of Genoa attacker and son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, Giovanni.
Tottenham Hotspur have surprised everyone this summer with their lack of activity in the transfer market and with the start of the upcoming Premier League campaign less than a fortnight away, it will be very interesting to see if Spurs do manage to bring in any players to North London before the window slams shut.
A host of players continue to be linked with a move to Tottenham though and according to reports from the Daily Mirror, the Premier League contenders are currently planning a swoop for the son of Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, Giovanni.
Giovanni Simeone impressed for Italian side Genoa last season, scoring 12 goals in Serie A and as a result, the 22-year-old has been able to grab the attention of Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino. In addition to Simeone, Tottenham are also said to be currently monitoring Schalke youngster Max Meyer.
