According to reports from Spanish outlet Don Balon (the Daily Star in English), Tottenham Hotspur target Mateo Kovacic is open to a move away from Real Madrid.
While the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea have all spent heavily so far in the transfer market, Tottenham Hotspur have been extremely quiet and have not brought in a single player to North London this summer.
With the start of the Premier League season inching closer though, Tottenham are expected to ramp up their efforts to sign new players and there have been widespread speculation that Spurs are very keen on signing Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
Tottenham recently had a bid of around £22million for Kovacic rejected but as a huge encouragement for Spurs to continue their pursuit, Spanish outlet Don Balon have claimed that the Croatian international is open to joining Spurs as he looks to earn regular minutes on the pitch next season after struggling to do so at Real Madrid.
