Goalkeeper
Marc-Andre ter Stegen is the player who usually starts for Barcelona during the cup competitions and the goalkeeper is certain to feature against Arsenal this weekend as well.
ter Stegen has usually found it easy so far, just like claiming a code on Betminded this season in the cup against arguably weaker opposition but one can be sure that he will be put to the test on Tuesday night against a dangerous Arsenal attack.
Defence
Jeremy Mathieu featured for Barcelona in central defence during their 2-1 victory over Las Palmas over the weekend and the Frenchman is now expected to drop down to the bench against Arsenal, with Gerard Pique set to make a return back into the lineup.
The trio of Dani Alves, Jordi Alba and Javier Mascherano are sure to continue in the starting lineup while the likes of Thomas Vermaelen, Marc Bartra and Adriano will also be in contention.
Midfield
Andres Iniesta will be leading the charge from midfield for Barcelona while Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic are expected to be lining up alongside the skipper at the middle of the park.
Arda Turan is unavailable due to suspension while young Sergi Roberto could be expected to feature in some capacity throughout the course of the game.
Attack
There has been a lot of talk that the holy trinity of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar will dominate the Arsenal backline and while they are more than capable of doing so, it will not be as straightforward as people expect.
The trio will be made to work hard by the Arsenal backline and it will be interesting to see what sort of tactic the Premier League side adopt in order to stifle the sensational Barcelona attack.
