Venue: Estadio Municipal El Molinón, Gijon

Kick-off: 05:30 PM GMT / 12:30 PM EST
Match
Goalkeeper
Claudio Bravo did not have much to do during the 6-1 victory over Celta Vigo last time out but he did concede through a John Guidetti penalty.
As a result, Bravo will be intent on keeping a clean sheet against Sporting Gijon this time around but it will not be as straightforward as people think due to the fact that the minnows have been showing a bit of attacking flair in recent time.
Defence
The Barcelona defence consisting of Jordi Alva, Javier Mascherano, Gerard Pique and Dani Alves have been forging quite a partnership in recent times and Luis Enrique is unlikely to change things around for the clash on Wednesday night.
Thomas Vermaelen, Jeremy Mathieu, Marc Bartra, Aleix Vidal and Adriano provide the other options for Enrique to choose from if he decides to change things around.
Midfield
Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Sergi Roberto started the clash against Sporting but with the games coming in thick and fast, Enrique could well elect to change his lineup around in midweek.
Ivan Rakitic and Arda Turan only featured from the bench during the weekend and there is a great possibility that the duo might be handed a start against Sporting.
Attack
There is no doubting the fact that the trio of Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar will be starting the clash in midweek and following their stunning display against Celta, the Sporting Gijon defenders will surely have their work cut out on Wednesday night.
