Premier League side Norwich City have reached an agreement to recall Ricky van Wolfswinkel from his loan spell at Real Betis, according to reports from AS.
Ricky van Wolfswinkel has proven to be a huge flop at Norwich City since making a £8.5million move from Sporting Lisbon during the summer of 2013 and the striker has since been farmed out on loan at various clubs.
van Wolfswinkel is currently out on loan at Spanish side Real Betis but the Dutchman has failed to make any sort of impact and is yet to open his account in La Liga for the club.
It is clear to see that van Wolfswinkel’s loan move to Betis has not worked out but surprisingly, the striker could now be handed an unexpected chance to revive his career at Norwich City.
According to reports from AS, it has been claimed that Norwich manager Alex Neil is considering recalling van Wolfswinkel from his loan spell at Betis before the end of the transfer window as he looks to beef up his attacking options which has been decimated by the departures of Lewis Grabban and Gary Hooper.
