Liverpool have placed a £13.7million bid in their attempt to secure the services of Celta Vigo star Nolito, according to reports from talkSPORT.
With only a week left before the end of the January transfer window, Liverpool are ramping up their pursuit to sign new players and bringing in a new attacker is a priority for manager Jurgen Klopp.
A host of names continue to be linked with Liverpool and now according to reports from talkSPORT, the Premier League giants have placed a concrete bid in an attempt to secure the services of Celta Vigo star Nolito.
The reports claim that Liverpool have placed a £13.7million bid for Nolito, which would activate the Spanish international’s release clause at Celta and it has also been suggested that the move is close to coming into fruition.
Barcelona were said to be leading the race to sign Nolito but their offer of a loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer at the end of the season has not been seen favorably by Celta as they want to strike a deal this winter and as a result, the 29-year old could now be heading to Liverpool.
