Luis Suarez has opened up the possibility of making a move back to England by hinting at Liverpool return.
Despite leaving Liverpool in the summer of 2014 under controversial circumstances to join Barcelona in a £75million transfer, Luis Suarez remains a popular figure at Anfield and the fans would certainly welcome the return of the Uruguayan superstar to Merseyside.
Now Suarez has been speaking regarding his time at Liverpool as well as a potential return to Anfield and stated that if he were to arrive in England, the Reds are the only team he would ever consider joining.
Suarez said, “You never know what will happen in the future. If I was to return to England, it would be to play for Liverpool – not for any other team.
“I have missed the fans. The atmosphere [at Anfield] is incredible, it’s incredible. Everyone that has played for Liverpool knows how important the supporters are. They know that they are in my heart.”
Suarez has gone on to become one of the most lethal strikers in the world since joining Barcelona and it is unlikely that the Catalan giants will allow the 29-year old to leave for Liverpool anytime soon.
