Liverpool are planning to make a swoop for Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto, according to reports from the Kick Off.
Liverpool are widely expected to be very busy in the transfer market in January as manager Jurgen Klopp looks to boost the Reds’ hopes of finishing in one of the Champions League positions this season.
To further accelerate Klopp’s pursuit of new players this winter, Liverpool have been struck by a terrible injury curse to a host of their key men and a couple of new names arriving at Anfield seems just a matter of time.
Signing a new attacker has been a priority for Klopp and it can now be revealed by Kick Off that the German manager wants to make a swoop for Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto.
Vietto made a €20 million move from Villarreal to Atletico Madrid during the summer but the 22-year old has struggled for goals and indeed minutes on the pitch at the Vicente Calderon.
It is believed that Atletico are now already prepared to offload their summer investment and now the Kick Off claims that Vietto is set to be a subject of a bid from Liverpool.
