West Ham United are ready to offload striker Mauro Zarate to Malaga, according to reports from talkSPORT.
West Ham United are expected to be very busy in the transfer market this January and while all the talk has been regarding a host of players arriving at the Boleyn Ground, many expect quite a few to be leaving as well.
Now according to reports from talkSPORT, it has been claimed that West Ham United are set to sanction their first departure of the winter by allowing striker Mauro Zarate to join Spanish side Malaga.
Zarate has made 20 appearances for West Ham so far this season and has made his contribution to the Hammers’ fine first half of the campaign.
However, with the likes of Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho set to make a return to full fitness soon as well as the fact that Andy Carroll has returned to form, Zarate is believed to be deemed surplus to requirements by manager Slaven Bilic.
As a result, Bilic is ready to allow Zarate to leave this winter and a move to the Spanish league with Malaga has been seen as a huge possibility for the striker.

I will be sad to see Zarate have to leave if he does eventually in the January window, I and many West Ham fans would rather finally see the back of Andy Carroll, who has been a waste of time and space, he was never worth the fee we paid for Liverpool for him, and the salary we agreed to pay him, the top one at the club should never have been sanctioned. Andy is more interested in his off field activities and promoting himself in the media, rather than being a Team player, he may be tall and able to head, but he is slow, has no foot control and does not fit the way Slaven Bilic has us now playing, but I doubt any club would ever pay the £18 Million pounds we expect to sell him.
