Neymar
Barcelona endured a disappointing 0-0 draw against Espanyol at the Estadi Cornellà-El Prat and it was only for the second time so far this season that the Catalan giants had failed to find the back of the net.
Given the fact that Barcelona had been scoring for fun over the past few weeks, one would expect the trio of MSN to have endured a tough time but it has to be said that Neymar was arguably the best player on the pitch for the Catalans on the night.
Although not at his best, Neymar was easily the most dangerous attacking player for Barcelona during the clash but simply did not have luck on his side to provide the breakthrough.
Luis Suarez
Much like Neymar, even Luis Suarez did not enjoy his best of games during the clash but the Uruguayan superstar did keep the Espanyol backline on their toes whenever on the ball.
Suarez nearly grabbed the winner with a stunning free kick but the 28-year old was unfortunate to see his effort come crashing back off the bar.
Sergio Busquets
The pitch at the Estadi Cornellà-El Prat on the night was evidently not the best of quality and Barcelona were not quite able to play their free flowing brand of football with the same level of conviction.
Nonetheless, Blaugrana still managed to dominate the proceedings and as it has been the case so often; midfielder Sergio Busquets helped his side facilitate that.
Busquets retained the ball wonderfully well under difficult conditions and made a couple of timely interventions to stop some potentially dangerous Espanyol counter attacks.
