Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is hopeful of luring Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen to Anfield, according to reports from Soccerlens.
With the January transfer window fast approaching, Liverpool are widely expected to be strengthening their squad and manager Jurgen Klopp has his eyes set on improving his backline.
Signing a new central defender remains a priority for Klopp but even a new goalkeeper is set to arrive due to the poor form shown by the duo of Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan this season.
AC Milan custodian Diego Lopez was said to have been a target for Liverpool but now according to reports from Soccerlens, it has been revealed that the Reds are also plotting a move for Barcelona second choice Marc-André ter Stegen.
Ter Stegen has been limited to only four La Liga appearances since his arrival to Barcelona at the start of last season and although he has been used in the Champions League, the German star is said to be open to leaving Nou Camp for regular minutes on the pitch.
