Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has revealed that Arsenal are not ready to splash the cash to sign Celta Vigo star Nolito.
Celta Vigo have enjoyed a stunning start to their La Liga campaign so far and one of the main reasons behind their wonderful run has been due to the brilliant form shown by attacking midfielder Nolito.
Nolito has managed an impressive 8 goals as well as 5 assists in just 15 La Liga appearances so far and has arguably been one of the best attacking players around in Europe this season.
Given Nolito’s fine form, a host of clubs have expressed their interest in signing the Spanish star and it was recently reported that the duo of Barcelona and Arsenal were locked in a head to head battle to secure the services of the 29-year old in January.
However, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague does not feel that Nolito will end up in the Premier League this season as Arsenal are reportedly not prepared to match his asking price of around €18million.
Balague told Sky Sports, “I know for a fact that Arsenal don’t want him. They feel for 18m euros, it’s not what they’re looking for so instead of me answering, that’s Arsenal answering for you.”
