Manchester City will look to sign former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez if Pep Guardiola arrives at the Etihad Stadium next season, according to reports from the Daily Star.
After much speculation, it was finally confirmed that Pep Guardiola would be leaving his post as the manager of Bayern Munich at the end of the current campaign and it has also been revealed that former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti will be replacing the Spaniard at the Allianz Arena.
No sooner had the announcement been made, a host of clubs have already started being linked with a swoop for Guardiola and many believe that the 44-year old will be ending up in the Premier League with Manchester City.
Reports claim that Guardiola’s move to City coming into fruition is just a matter of time and that the Spaniard has already lined up transfer targets to pursue when he joins Bayern.
Now according to the Metro, it has been revealed that Guardiola wants Manchester City to sign Luis Suarez from former club Barcelona.
Suarez has established himself as one of the best strikers in the world following his move to the Nou Camp and it is believed that Guardiola wants the Manchester City hierarchy to go all out to secure the services of the Uruguayan superstar.
