Arsenal are considering making a swoop for former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Javier Hernandez, according to reports from Don Balon.
While Hernandez may have been unable to cut it at Manchester United and Real Madrid, he has proven himself to be one of the finest goalscorers in Europe following his move to German side Bayer Leverkusen over the summer.
Hernandez has managed a stunning 18 goals in just 23 appearances for Bayer so far and many feel that Manchester United were very unwise to have offloaded the Mexican international.
With Hernandez showing such a wonderful run of form, it has been no surprise to see him linked with a host of top clubs and now according to reports from Don Balon, the 27-year old is being monitored by Premier League giants Arsenal.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen his attacking lineup in January and the French manager is said to be keen on making a swoop for Hernandez.
