Erik Lamela’s fruitless stint at White Hart Lane could finally end in a few days as the former Roma player looks to be all set to secure a move to the Serie A with Inter Milan, according to a report in The Independent.
The highly rated Argentinian midfielder who joined from Roma in 2013 for a fee in the region of £30 million pounds, has not been a success at all and has scored only 2 goals across all competitions for the North Londoners.
However, the powers that be at Inter Milan feel that a return to Italy might just be what Lamela needs and hence they have tabled a £20 million bid for the midfielder.
The clubs are expected to come to an agreement soon and Lamela could become an Inter Milan player at some point this week. Inter Milan had initially wanted a loan deal but Spurs want a permanent deal so that they can get his wages off their books.
