The Saido Berahino transfer saga has been raging all summer and Tottenham Hotspur have upped their bid over the past few weeks in order to take him to White Hart Lane. However their 3rd offer of £22 million has now been rejected by West Bromwich Albion according to The Daily Telegraph.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis has maintained throughout the summer that the England U-21 international is not for sale at any price and last weekend showed his anger at Spurs striker Harry Kane’s statements regarding the possibilities of playing with Berahino.
Spurs have already offloaded misfiring striker Roberto Soldado to Villareal and are now looking for a replacement. Berahino is the choice of their manager Mauricio Pochettino and the club are prepared to do everything in their power to make it happen. However, West Brom are adamant that the player is not for sale and with only a week left for the transfer window to end, this could turn out into an interesting little wrangle.
