Liverpool have completed some excellent deals pretty early in this summer’s transfer window and now they are looking to the future as they are all set to complete the signing of 21-year-old Real Betis youngster Dani Ceballos according to the Express.
The developments were originally reported by a Seville based newspaper and according to the report, the Spanish midfielder is on the verge of a move to Liverpool but he would be arriving in Liverpool next year if the deal does go through.
Arsenal were also in the race to sign him but Liverpool have been proactive in their efforts that saw them trigger the £8.5 million release clause in his contract.
The player would be paid £1.1 million a year by the club and according to most, Liverpool have managed to snare an extremely cultured midfielder.
The Spanish press has compared him to Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas and in fact he was instrumental in Real Betis’ promotion to La Liga this year.
