It is no secret that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers does not quite have Italian striker Mario Balotelli in his plans for the upcoming season and efforts to sell him to another club has not borne fruit due to the steep £70,000 weekly wage that is currently commanded by the forward.
However, a deal could finally be in the works to send him on loan to Italian side Sampdoria, according to the Express and a deal could be tied up in the following weeks.
Sampdoria might not have been keen to foot the bills and hence Liverpool are willing to sweeten the deal by paying £42,000 per week towards his wages which would most certainly be a deal that the Italian club would be willing to take.
The fact that Liverpool are willing to pay 60% of his wages in order to get him to another club shows that Balotelli would find it really hard to make a comeback to Anfield if this deal is completed.
