It is rumoured that Liverpool are monitoring Barcelona winger Pedro.
Since the arrival of Luis Suarez and Neymar, the player has struggled for first team opportunities, sparking the interest of a number of clubs.
The 27-year-old has been a loyal servant for the Catalan giants, and a move away would be a difficult decision for a player who has been so consistent for Barcelona during his time there.
However, a player of his quality deserves to be playing on a weekly basis, and his potential availability has caused stiff competition amongst potential suitors, to earn his signature.
Chelsea are one of those clubs who have shown an interest, and could be a likely destination considering they will be competing in next season’s Champions League.
Liverpool on the other hand can not offer Champions League football, however Raheem Sterling’s departure means and gifted winger such as Pedro would be welcome at Anfield.
With other positions that need strengthening, the transfer looks unlikely, especially as the Reds have already paid money for attacking midfielder Roberto Firmino this transfer window.
Yet, it cannot be denied that the winger, who is looking for first team football would be a regular starter at Anfield should he consider a move to Merseyside.
