David Moyes could be set to recruit from his former club and save Adnan Januzaj from the Manchester United bench. Januzaj has found playing time difficult to come by under Louis van Gaal, as he prefers to use Juan Mata, Angel Di Maria and even Ashley Young rather than the young Belgian.
But Moyes wants the youngster he first bled into the United senior team to join him in Spain with Real Sociedad. The Scot is keen to add to his squad and will surely add to it with Premier League players he knows and trusts.
Moyes has had a mixed start to life in the Basque Country, with a 3-0 win over Elche followed by a 4-0 defeat to Villarreal, but he did draw the derby with Bilbao this weekend. His attacking options are limited to the brilliance of Carlos Vela, and Januzaj would give the side an attacking edge from the flanks.
Januzaj was one of the key figures as United stumbled to a 7th placed finish, scoring four times and grabbing several assists in a dismal year. He also made his international debut for Belgium, starting against South Korea in the World Cup in Brazil.
Despite numerous injuries this season, Januzaj has played just nine times and at just 19 years old, needs to be playing regular football to keep progressing. Moyes could offer him just that once again with Sociedad.
